Mention of Bang Yong Guk as an "Intelligent Idol"
On the MBC Quiz to Change the World that aired in November of 2012, Bang Yong Guk was asked by the MCs "Is it true that while you were in school, your parents said they'd forgive you becoming a singer if you could become the number one student, and did you actually accomplish that?" Yong Guk replied that he wanted to be a singer but his parents were against it. He was able to pass the exams to enter a prestigious university, but he said that in order to concentrate on his music he didn't attend.
B.A.P mentioned as "Charitable Idols"
Even though they'd been supporting people in experiencing various hardships, January 2013 saw the 1 year anniversary of their debut, and in their fan's name they made a charitable donation. Under their fanclub's name, they donated to the Unicef charity for people in Africa to be supplied with hand-operated (water) pumps. Fans were moved by their message "We've made preparations in order to send our love even to our friends far away."
